Register for BISP 8171 via SMS
If you don’t have internet access, you can register through SMS easily:
- Open the messaging app on your mobile.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC number without dashes.
- Send it to 8171.
- You will receive a confirmation or eligibility message from BISP.

BISP 8171 Online Registration Portal
To register online for BISP 8171 in 2025:
- Visit the official portal: 8171.bisp.gov.pk
- Enter your CNIC number and the captcha code.
- Click on the “Submit” or “Check Eligibility” button.
- If eligible, proceed to fill in your details and complete the registration form.
Make sure you enter correct and up-to-date information to avoid rejection.
Required Documents for BISP Registration
Before applying, gather the following documents:
- Original CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Mobile number registered in your name
- Household information (number of family members, income, etc.)
